Pricing By Country is operated by add-ons.org.
The app reads products, variants, base prices, tags and collections, and reads the shop's Shopify Markets with their countries, currencies and catalogs. It writes fixed prices to market price lists in Shopify. It stores the merchant's price rules, per-variant price overrides, per-market exchange rate settings, a record of each price it has written, and Shopify authentication sessions. It receives product update and delete webhooks to keep market prices current.
For the merchant's profit dashboard the app receives order creation and update webhooks and can import recent orders. For each order it stores the order ID and number, the shipping or billing country code, amounts (subtotal, tax, shipping, discounts, total), quantities per variant and the resulting cost of goods, and whether the order is cancelled or a test. It does not store customer names, addresses, contact details or payment details. Prices are served to shoppers by Shopify itself.
When a market uses a currency other than the shop currency and no manual rate is set, the app requests a daily exchange rate from a public rate service. Only currency codes are sent.
Merchant settings remain until Shopify requests shop data erasure. Authentication sessions are deleted on uninstall. Prices written to Shopify remain in the market price lists until removed in Shopify Markets or by the app.
